It has many merits such as high mechanical strength, high compatibility with transformeroil, etc. And it can be used in 105ºC transformer oil for a long time. People usually use this material to make pressure plates.spacer blocks in oil immersed transformers.as welas clamps in instrument transformers. lt can replace steel plate, insulating paper sheels, epoxy paper sheets epoxy paperboard woven glass fabric lamination in these fields. Thus, the weight of transformer and the cost ofmaterials are reduced. The raw materials of electrical laminated wood is the thin veneer of the birch, stained wood,northeastChina ash and other high quality wood. The product is coated with special insulating glue and processed at hightemperature and high pressure conditions.

Manufacturing process
After being cut to size, each individual piece of veneer is impregnated with phenolic resin in a vacuum autoclave. Following impregnation, the pieces of veneer are baked in an oven to achieve a "B-stage" (partially cured) condition. The next step is to arrange and to stack the veneers to the desired configuration and thickness. Lamination, densification and complete curing are accomplished simultaneously in specially designed hot press machine.
