Flexible Laminates Electrical Insulation Nmn Polyester UL Certificate Prepreg Nomex Paper

Product Description

D283 Prepreg. of Nomex paper / polyester film flexible laminates (NMN).  NMN is  a B-stage material in which NMN is coated with special heat-resistant resin, then followed by baking process. It has the characteristics of short curing time and long storage life under room temperature. After being cured, D283 has excellent electrical properties, good adhesive and heat resistance.

D283 is used in Class-H dry-type transformers as layer insulation of low-voltage copper/ aluminum foil windings, also as well as slot insulation and interturn insulation in Class F and H electric motors or electric appliances. 


1 Technical requirements
1.1 Appearance
Its surface should be flat, free of uneven resin and impurities affecting performances. While being de-coiled, its surface shall not conglutinate each other. Free of defects such as creases, bubbles and wrinkles.
1.2 Dimension
D283 is supplied in roll, roll length is not less than 50 meters, roll weight is less than 60kg. The splices shall not be more than 2 in each roll and the length for each section shall not be less than 5 meters. 
The recommended nominal width is 900mm. As per user¡s requirement, we can also supply D283 in tapes with different width (width tolerance: +/-1.0mm ).



2 Test method
2.1. The test for dissolvable resin content, volatile content and shear strength under tension shall be as per the relevant stipulations in Chapter 4 of Standard Q/DSJ-375-201.
2.2 The other items shall be as per the relevant stipulations in Test Method for Electrical Insulating Flexible Laminates , GB 5591.2-2002.

3 Transporting and Storage
3.1 The storage life is 6 months at temperature of below 20ºC after leaving factory. If the storage duration is over 6 months, the product can still be used when being tested to be qualified. The product should be put and / or stored upright and keep away from fire, heat and direct sunshine.
3.2 The other requirements shall accord with the stipulations in Electrical insulating flexible laminate and general definition,GB5591.1  2002.
